Nepal Agroforestry Foundation (NAF) in partnership with ASIA ONLUS had a dissemination program for the implementation of the project “Building Back a better future in the most earthquake afflicted Areas, School and Education as a Gateway to the Community” on 25th January, 2017 in Dhunche, Rasuwa. The program was led by delegates such as Rasuwa Chief District officer (CDO), Mr. Chomendra Neupane (Chief Guest); Local District Officer (LDO), Mr. Rajendra Dev Pandey (Guest); Assembly Member, Mr, Chhewang Tenjin Tamang (Special Chief Guest) and Director of NAF, Dr. Swoyambhu Man Amatya along with government officers from the various government offices. The program was also attended by Journalists, TV reporters, local stakeholders and the representatives from the various organizations. The program included a welcome speech by Mr. Kamal Nath Acharya, Project Coordinator of NAF, Rasuwa followed by dissemination of the project along with its objectives, time duration, implementing areas, budget allocation and targeted beneficiaries by Mr. Nabaraj Acharya, Project Coordinator of ASIA Onlus for the project. Further this, Dr. Swoyambhu Man Amatya, Executive Director of NAF introduced NAF and mentioned about its contributions in Rasuwa district via numerous projects implemented in the area since 1999. The program ended with positive reviews and feedbacks from the Government officers, Assembly Member and the presented representative participants as they appreciated NAF previous contributions in Rasuwa district and wished for the success of the project as well.No Photos available.
